Meaning of Home

Everything has a home Trees, plants, animals, humans For trees and plants A home is a forest The roof is the sky The floor is the grass And the walls are the edge of the world For wild animals A home can be small or big Mice and bunnies live in burrows Flight birds live in nests and trees Penguins and polar bears live on the Poles And big cats and bears live in caves and mountains For pets A home can be anything Cats and dogs roam free Birds get cages And snakes get the yard For us humans A home is a house, an apartment, a hotel It is where we won't be judged Where we have fun Where we learn And where we are loved And that's what a home means to me.
