The Diverse Meaning of Home
The platform of my house withholds the memories of my home. I can confirm that I would rather be home than any other place, with the security, passion and confidence provided. I'm allowed the comfort of my own house in my home due to my growth and accomplishments. Knowing that my house has been attempting to bring out the best in my family and I, we are able to trust my home. Sure, it holds negative emotions that are lashed out and the challenges faced by the outside world, yet it gives us a chance to talk about these challenging situations.
Each individual home is diverse. It contains memories, objects and relationships like none other. One thing for sure, is that we are allowed to feel like ourselves, as we belong at home. When I enter my house, I recognize that shutting the door as I enter; my home gives me a sense of relief. The precarious depths of the outside world shuts down behind me making me relieved; similar to how when I was younger, I stopped crying as I got out of the pool after treading water for just a minute. I will never know when I may figure out how to navigate the real world. Still, I know that my home will forever feel familiar, secure, and comforting.
The walls, tiles on the floors and ceilings have had an exhausting job of keeping the home secure. The tiles and the furniture and objects lying around still hold memories from the past of joy, regret and success. It sustains part of my family's home, as
my home, my family, and I have experienced countless different changes and renovations. Yet our relationship with one another still continues to grow. We each have numerous differences, but nonetheless care for each other.
