Meaning of Home To me, the meaning of home is a safe place. It makes me calm and sane. You need money to have a house but not a home. Because you can be anywhere you want and say it's a home. To me, a home is where family is. To people in poverty, I hope they have a safe place to go to. Even if you don’t have a house doesn't mean you don’t have a home. Even if you don’t have a family doesn't mean you don’t have anyone. You can always find friends no matter what. I like the word home more than a house because just the word makes me feel safe. As I said, home can be anywhere not only for you but for all types of animals and insects. A body of water is for all kinds of sea animals just like how we have houses. A home is where we and all these animals can relax and feel safe. You don’t need to like a home to have it. I know that everyone wants a mansion but to be a normal house is perfect. I am so grateful for having a home. People think that a home is the same as a house. They think that a home is a building but not all of them are.
