What Home Means to Mahir

Home is where I live and where I make funny and nice memories with family and friends. Home is where my family and I spend those hours in the living room rambling as loud as a concert. Home is the place where I relax and sleep like a sloth after a long and hard day of school. Home is where I can keep my mind off the worrisome things like if I am going to get a good mark on that impossible test. Home is a place where I can rest in my comfy and fluffy bed with my soft pillow. Home is also where I can express myself by doing what I like to do and no one is there to judge me by what I'm doing. Home is a place where I can eat and stay healthy. I can also eat my favourite foods like a pepperoni pizza. Home keeps me safe from the harsh weather like the scary thunderstorms and the heavy rain in the dark night. Home is where I stay clean by taking a nice warm shower. Home is where I have fun by playing my favourite games and playing with my family. Home is where I come after a long day of school. Home is where I can relax and get away from the mean words that other people have to say. Home is as loud as Yorkdale on boxing day when my little cousins come over and when my dad is on the phone. Home is as quiet as a mouse when my mom has an online appointment. Home is the beautiful place where I live.
