The Meaning of Home

Have you ever sat by your fireplace and felt the warmth of your home? I have… I feel it all the time when I'm home. Whether it's watching a movie with my family, cuddling with my puppy, feeling love and joy from my family, or reading a book on the couch. Sometimes when I am having fun playing board games with my family, I realize how lucky I am to have a loving, laughing and joyful family. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. I also feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I go to bed at night because I feel protected by my parents. I know my parents are here every step of the way and I feel safe when they are around. I feel safe in my home because I can be myself and share my emotions freely. I think of home as a safe place because I know my parents will always be there for me. My home is a kind and loving place, I know my family is very understanding and will always accept and encourage me. No matter what happens I will always come home to a loving place where my parents are always there for me. I feel very accepted in my home because my family has a lot of compassion and tolerance. In conclusion, my home is a very warm, safe, and loving space. When I think about home I don't think of a house, I think of a loving and caring family.
