Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? Not many people have homes, but I'm lucky enough to say that I do. Now you might think your home is just a build and furniture. Home means more than that. Home to me is my comfort place. There aren’t many places you could be at and feel comfort and freeness. Home is my happy and safe place. Why? Well, it is where I’m able to feel and be supported with what I do or want to do. Since your family loves you, they will do everything they can to support you. That is why it is the only place where I don't feel judged by people. For example, if you want to learn how to use a bike, you aren’t going to be perfect at it on the first try. So, you fall down but your parents tell you to be going and that you can do it. That is all them supporting you. My family brings love, peace and joy to my heart by simply making jokes and having conversations with me. The feeling of knowing you can trust somebody warms your heart. In my case, I trust my family and I can be honest while opening up to them. For example, If I got a bad mark on my test, I can trust my family to support me.That way, I can be honest. When I'm in my room, I feel relaxed and rested. Simply because I have my own privacy and don’t need to worry about what people think. In a family gathering, happiness is brought to me. Only because I feel safe around the people surrounding me, knowing they care. Home is my world, my memories and my family. It is where I belong. My house isn’t a mansion, it's average. What makes it more than average is the love and people that are beheld there. That is what home means to me.
