What Home Means to Me

My home makes me feel safe. Some people do not even have a home even though I am in my house. I think about the people who do not even have a home. Some people are left homeless. The people in my home are respectful and they listen to me when I am speaking. My home makes me feel safe, my house has a bed and clothing and a mom and dad and siblings that is all I need. I am grateful for having a home. I feel so bad for the people that don’t have a home and that’s why I love Habitat for Humanity because they raise awareness for people who don’t even have a home and they take the time to build houses for people in need. I care about giving Habitat for Humanity money that goes to houses. Whenever I get scared I remind myself I’m in my home and nothing can hurt me. My family protects me and keeps me safe.
