The Meaning of Home

Where I am always with my family Home means the world to me Doesn’t matter how big or small Home is the place for us all Not everything stays the same But I know my home will never change My home is my life and soul And will be there when I am young and when I’m old A space where my world is complete Home is a place where two ends meet My special place where I can be myself and play A room where all my treasures lay Home is where I can have lots of fun Home is where I can wake up to the bright morning sun As I stare outside at the shiny sky I wonder how my home can stand up so high I think about those people who don’t have a home I think about those who shiver in the cold I wonder if the world will ever change I wonder if everything will stay the same Home isn’t just a tall building It’s a place you can express yourself not just a place for living Home is a space filled with happiness, love and joy A place where everything comes together and is joined A home is a place you will always feel safe A home where you can have fun and play A space where you can have your own feelings A place where you have lots of faith Just like a home The world needs to come together as one Earth filled with hope a world that is beloved A world we all cherish, a world we all love
