What a Home Means To Me

What a Home Means To Me A home is my everything. A home isn’t the roof, walls, chairs, and tables. Home is my happiness. Home is the laughter. Home is my emotion. Home is all the memories shared with the ones you loved. When I’m at home, I’m always happy and I can be myself. I learned how to talk, walk, run and write. I feel safe, cared for, and warm. Every day I wake up and smile because I know I am home. After a hard and tiring day. I come home and feel joy, love, and freedom. I can express myself without being judged and rated. It doesn't matter if I have a tiny or big house. It is the feelings put into it. I am never alone. I always have someone there. It is my treasure and nobody can take it from me. Through hard times I am with my family. They make me cry with joy. All my dreams and hopes are in my home. I can have fun and love myself, all within the comfort of knowing I am home. By: Melissa
