Home Sweet Home
A home to me is more than a door and four walls
It’s where my family and I have fun in the halls.
It holds so many memories and so much love
It would be so hard to let go of.
A home to me is more than just a lock and a key
It’s where I learned to ride a bike and bruised my knee.
It's a place where I feel safe and secure
Even when I feel scared and unsure.
At home is where a smile on my face rises
And it doesn’t matter what the size is.
We eat meals together in the dining room
And look out at the garden to see where the flowers bloom.
Where I learned to braid my hair
Where I learned to hike, and watch out for bears.
It’s the place where I learned to cook soup
And learned to be a part of the good group.
Through all the memories and laughter
You will see a family wrapped in kindness with a bow on after.
At the end of the day, any home is great
It’s the memories that fill the plate.
Everyone deserves a home full of love
A place to call home that they are proud of.
