What My Home Means To Me

My home is not just four walls and a roof A house is where you can be a goof My home address may change as the time goes by but the memories I have will always be nice. It doesn't matter what is the price Sticks and bones may break my bones but the love in my home will always hold me up. I can always have hot coco in a cup Home is a place where I can express my feelings and feel safe In my home i never feel unsafe. Home is a place where i can relax and calm down and rest A home makes me realize how lucky and fortunate I am to have a nice home with food in the fridge. Home is where you make and have traditions to follow Home is where I treasure it all. In my house i can handle a fall Big or small the people inside mean it all We build our house as a family with all the love and memories we make When i walk into my home I never feel alone the warmth in my house warms my heart A home is not the structure, a home is the people in it. Home is where I play Home is where I lay. Just The little things make it yours I am writing this poem because I want to raise money for the people that can’t have a house and can’t celebrate their memories.
