Home is where memories are made. When I come home I feel happy and safe. A home for bees is a beehive. Bees make honey as their food for the hive. At home, someone in your family makes food for the family. Sometimes when I get home, I smell cookies baking in the oven, or muffins cooling off on the counter. My home is like a beehive. A home for ants is an anthill. Ants work together to make an anthill for their home. Together my family can do something that’s hard to do by yourself, like catch the cat when he sneaks outside or help make supper. My home is like an anthill. A home for birds are nests. A nest is where birds lay their eggs so they will be safe from harm. When I come home I feel safe from harm. My home is like a bird nest. My home is a special place where memories are made, and everyone should have a home.
