Meaning of Home

My family is the most important people in my life. People who care about me, who always help me and who I love the most. Encouragement to be myself, to think positive, to try new things and to appreciate everything and everyone around me. Acceptance for who I am, how I look like and how I express myself. It is unconditional love of my parents and grandparents. Need to have shelter that protects me from rain, snow, wind and cold. It is a need to have a place where I can be safe at all times. Interest that inspires imagination and give information about the world around me: different homes, different cities and different countries. Neighborhood which is a safe community with a lot of grass, trees, and flowers, nice playground for children and friendly people around. Guidance to grow up healthy and happy, to make right choices, to be responsible and to prepare for my future independent life. Opportunity to be side-by-side with my parents and learn from them as well as explore myself at different activities. Freedom to express myself: to run, to jump, to dance, to sing, to be loud, to laugh, and to be calm and quiet when I need rest. Holidays is magical time spent together with my family and friends: Thanksgivings, Christmases, New Years, and Family days. Openness to new ideas, different cultures and different traditions. It is tolerance to other people of different backgrounds and beliefs. Memories of me growing up. My happiest moments in life when baking cookies with my mom, talking to my dad and playing with my sister. Earth is the planet that provides everyone of us with what we need to live comfortably. It is the welcoming home for us all.
