My Place
Home is a place that everyone and anyone needs,
a place where we live and learn also where sometimes you need to earn.
It is indeed sad that is not everyone has that special place
where you aren’t discriminated for your race and when those people put their feet
on the ground they feel like they’re swimming on the word profound
and think I need that safe space
where I'm allowed to call it my place.
And those who have a good family tree
pass down from year to year with love and peace is what they hear.
So be grateful for what you have and more,
be thankful.
