What is the meaning of Home?

Home is where the heart is, but what does that mean? Well to me home is more than just wood and nails. Home is where memories are made and growing up is done. Your home is where you are loved and feel safe. You don’t say your childhood house you say your childhood home. Home is more than just 4 walls and a roof it’s where memories are cherished and you always feel welcome. Your home should be a place where you feel safe. I think that the safer you feel the more comfortable you feel to be yourself. A house sounds like it’s very proper and should be on a business card but home is a heart warming and safe environment. A home is where it doesn’t matter if you mark up the door frames with height charts or have a superstition seating arrangement. A home is where laughter is shared and so is ice cream. Home’s truest meaning is love. Now I have told you what home means to me. But home has a different meaning for everyone. The one true thing is “There’s no place like home.”
