What Home Means to Me
My home is very important to me. The definition
of home is the place where one lives
permanently, especially as a member of a
family or household. Although I agree with
this definition, my home also makes me feel
mentally, emotionally and physically secure.
First of all, my home makes me feel relaxed.
My home makes me feel relaxed because I
can be my own self. I can be myself by lying
on the couch watching TV and eating chips.
That is relaxing because nobody is going to
make fun of me or bother me when I am
relaxed.
In addition, my home is where I live with my
family. I have 3 brothers, my mom and my
dad. What I like most about my family is that
they are supportive. They show their support
by cheering me on when I am playing
basketball. I know that I can always rely on
my family.
Lastly, my home makes me feel safe. My
home makes me feel safe during storms and
rain. When a storm is happening, I feel
protected by the roof over my head.
In conclusion, my home is special to me in
many ways. Most importantly, my home
makes me feel relaxed, connected with my
family and makes me feel safe. As a result,
my home helps me feel mentally, emotionally
and physically healthy every day.
