An Unfortunate Home
Home,
A place that we all love,
The place gives us a nice thrill,
And it's where all our dreams are fulfilled,
But some may not have a home,
Unfortunate enough
They roam alone,
Struggling to survive,
Falling into darkness,
While failing to thrive,
However in the darkness,
There’s a slight light,
A light where charities arrive,
Generous enough to give money and needs,
The unfortunate just may succeed,
Looking for a lead,
Hoping to arrive at a place called home,
Trying to not get mislead
And proceeding with caution,
While attempting to not get swept by greed,
Blessed by luck,
They’ve found a place,
No matter how rusty it can be,
It’s still a place they can love,
They’ll finally succeed,
Achieving their goal,
For a place called home,
They stand in their steed,
While chasing their new dreams,
Home is more than a place,
It's more than walls,
Because deep in those walls
Is the most valuable thing of all
More valuable than a 1 million dollar candle,
Some may find it laughable,
But it’s never going to be riches,
It's always memories,
Memories made
From fun to sad,
Whether it’s with your uncle or not,
Their value is more than that,
Memories are priceless,
A home with them are too,
Some may find this untrue,
But soon they realize,
That home is the place in which they grew
We all must take a stand,
And try to make others understand,
Soon there will be no unfortunate,
With lands full of happiness and peace,
This is the future we all must plan
