Home Sweet Home By: Kareena Tom A house is brick and stone but, A home is a place where you never feel alone, With all your favorite items, From candles to cologne A home is a safe haven and a comfort zone. We groan but we’re never alone We cry and sigh but we never say bye To our beautiful home. A home is a place where you feel respected and loved. Not neglected and judged. In a cruel world, our home is the only place we can cry We leave a trace, that no one can erase Even when we grow old we still remember our memories placed In our home sweet home. A Home To Me And You You may think, every building you see is a home, but, Home is where your heart blazes with the fire of happiness Home is the bright light that erases darkness Home is where elegance has no end Home is where we live, laugh and love What does a home mean to me, you ask? It’s an enchanted chamber that serves me many purposes It’s a place filled with memories of the ones you cherish It’s where we come together and bond It’s where you can feel the essence of warmth Is yours a home? Does it have joy? Can you hear your family laughing? Can you see them having fun? If not, then, I disagree. Walk inside your house, Do you feel warm and safe? Do you feel Happy? Do you remember the memories you made there? Yes? Then yours is a home. Student Name Paste the entire poem here with the title and your name R.Taggart Tapestry If I could take a brush and paint the mountains and the moors, I would splash the hillsides yellow and cover them in gorse. I'd take the finest needle and the darkest thread of green And sew a line of bracken along the landscape. In-between R. Taggart Agarwal, Nishka Home sweet home My home is a place where I can be myself, And to welcome everybody else. A place to have fun with family and friends, Where the fun never ends! My home is not just walls, roofs and doors, It’s a place where my family adores. When there’s a storm, I can make myself warm. When I’m sad home is the place to be, Peaceful, calm. Nice and clean. Everybody deserves a beautiful home, Everybody deserves to call a place of their own. Everybody deserves a place to stay, Children deserve somewhere to play. We could all go ahead and share, We can all prove how much we care!! Everybody deserves to spend time with their family, If we can give them a home, they can stay there happily! OUR home My home is a place where I get everything for free, It’s a place for every animal and every tree My home is green and blue, Where people live without saying thank you! My home is where I live and you do too, But you do not protect it, is it true? My home includes woods, hills and ponds It’s a place where everyone bonds! My home is getting destroyed and fast, Everyday it’s getting more and more trashed! But nobody cares, about my home, They only care about their loans! Let’s help make a better home for you and me, So the next generation will be free! By: Siddhant Bhatt, Jaitra (Grade 6) Home, My Life-Changing World My home is like a merrily palace, And my family its royal residence, My home motivates me to do my best, And with immense confidence Home is where our story begins, Its my home that’ll lead me to countless opportunities It will hold my side throughout my journey To help me succeed in large quantities My home taught me some amazing things Such as good behaviour, But the most important thing I learned, Is to rise from my failures, Our home is our guardian throughout Covid For some it's heaven, for some it's a barrier But now for me, my home is my personal mini-world My School, workplace, restaurant, protecting me from being a Covid-19 carrier Houses are made of bricks and beams, But a home is made of hopes and dreams I can’t imagine living without a home, Without it, where else would I roam Home is where one will start from Home is where one will end, Home is like a promise, On which everyone will depend As I write this poem, I hope to change one's life Remove its darkness, And make it bright With Everyone’s courage and might, I’m ready to take away their fright, To lend them a home, And provide them with a positive insight Let’s use this opportunity! To realize the precious importance of home! To unfold a new chapter of their life, speak up and be their voice! Since everyone deserves a safe, respected, loved and memorable home, sweet home! Bhatt, Nishka Home is Not a Place… It’s a Feeling. By Nishka Bhatt Locking the doors, Mopping the floors, Painting the walls, Furnishing the halls. As you can see, This home might seem thrilling, But I highly disagree, One element is missing from this building. I search for this lost key thinking, Where can it be? While walking back, A sudden thought tracks. Realizing this home needs some comfort, Some joy, Some laughter, Some love, The day my family moves in, Happiness begins. Years passed and now the whole world is trapped. We have been hidden and kept. My home is now my vaccine, My home is now my mask, My home is now my escape route, My home is now my habitat.
