Light in the darkness
During most of my days, I stay in my apartment unit where it’s safe. Doing remote learning almost every hour of the day.
But beyond the exterior of these walls, these broad, thick, and protective walls of mine, there lies a disease raging rampant outside. But even in my little apartment, it isn't safe.
From frightening news reports to a grim amber alert, It’s like my phone keeps vibrating even when do not disturb is on.
But even if the world seems upside down, even though all this distress, I see a light. So I stand upright, focused, and confident, knowing that at the end of this tunnel of gloom and despair, lies a future filled with hope and success waiting for me. But this event won’t just happen for me it will happen to kids around the globe, and when it does, I hope this virus will be gone for good.
