The Safest Place To Be

Our homes are a comfortable place, A place where we all can stay safe. To feel however you want, To stay together even just for a few days long. We all make so much memories, In only a breeze. The first time to do whatever you crave, To explore what may seem like a cave. Something that you don't know is that This is your home, and a home is a place where you can stay safe. Even if you don’t have a lot of faith. You will remember when you play family games, Even if it was Christmas and you were eating candy canes. At the end of each day I lay on my bed, And rest my head. I am thankful for a roof and four walls, And learning how to get up after I fall. Even if I am tall, Or small. Home is home And that is a place that will never change, Even from a far range. Something that you will never know, Is that you grew up in a place that you call home. And every home should be as good as mine.
