Home means comfort

Home means a comfortable place to live your life. Home is a place everyone should have no matter how wealthy they are. Home is a place you can eat, sleep, watch movies, play games and spend quality time with your family. Everyone should have the privilege of having a home and that’s why I'm so grateful for you to be doing this essay contest. With all the people around Canada, you are willing to give you money to them even though you might not even know them. I want to help people too, so that is why i'm writing to you. Home is a place of comfort and safety and everyone should have the opportunity to have one. Some people can’t afford a house and you help them with that and I think that is a great honour to have and to serve. My uncle, once every month goes out and collects money from citizens walking the streets that are willing to help the homeless get a home and stay safe in their struggles. That is the same thing you are doing and I believe that is the right thing to do. Leaving people on the streets isn’t right and for them to even have to be out there collecting scraps to stay alive is so sad to think about. When you build those houses you are helping the citizens of our country stay safe, especially in a global pandemic.
