What Home Means to Me

Everyone has a different opinion about what home means to them. Home to me means family, where I feel safe, and where I learn new things. First of all, my family. If I didn’t have my family at my home, it would probably be boring. I wouldn't have anyone to laugh with, play with, not even have anyone to live with! But my family isn’t just for that. They help me, take care of me, and they make me happy even when I am feeling down. It’s important to feel safe. If I didn’t have a safe home, I would probably not want to live there. Well, most likely no one would. Thankfully I have a safe home. I have walls to protect from all the bad things in the world and a roof to protect me from freezing in the winter and burning in the summer. But even though I have a safe home doesn't mean others do. Lastly, I have a place to grow and learn new things. I learn a lot of new things at my home. From learning how to cook to learning how to do tricks on the trampoline. I’m thankful that I have my family to teach me new things. My brothers teach me stuff same as my parents do. My brothers teach me how to play games like air hocky and darts which are really fun! Hopefully one day everyone will be able to learn new things at their home. But anyways, my home is like any other home. It has walls, a roof, and a floor. So, what's so special about it? Well, I can name one thing that special about it – which is my family.
