What Home Means to Me
Home is a place where you feel safe and protected. Whenever you’re away, you look forward to coming back to your home. From the first day you move into your home, a connection forms, a bond. Afterwards, you always love your home, no matter what happens. Unlike a home, a house is just a building. A place where you sleep. Houses don’t make you feel happy or loved, like a home. You may not feel safe or protected in a house. People move into many houses but only one home. You put time and effort into making your home look good, feel good, but a house, you don’t spend much effort on. A house is made out of materials and money, but a home is made out of love and hard work. A home can be anything, even a tent, but a house is just a large object in a row next to other large objects. That is what home means to me.
