Meaning of Home

To me home is a place that love runs throughout, where family is laughing and having fun and when traditions make us happy. This is what home means to me. Home is where I feel loved. To me, home is where I am myself. My family surrounds me with warm cozy love that makes me feel wonderful. Love is what warms me up on a cold day when I am feeling sad that my favourite things are cancelled because of Covid-19. Love is when my sister sings to me, when we have a movie night and when we say good night to each other. With love I will always be home. Family will always help me through difficult situations and respect me for who I am. If I don't feel happy or loved, my family will always help me feel better by doing something kind for me. My family will cook me foods that I love like lamb or chicken. family will give me gifts that I love on Christmas or my birthday. l will always be home when with family. Traditions are when family gets together and celebrates. Traditions are staying up late on December 31st or opening presents with the people you love and share a relationship with. Traditions can always lift you up and make you feel loved because it’s when we spend time with each other. With traditions home will always be a happy and exciting place. With love, family and traditions, l will always be home. I understand that some of these things are difficult to experience without a building. Habitat for humanity is giving people houses for lower costs so that they may find their own home.
