Home to Me

Home to me is like a summer breeze. Where I can be happy and free Home to me is a place with no judgments No matter what I'll do I will be welcomed Home is a shield for me sticking by my side whenever I'm unhappy Home is a place where laughs explode And where stories can be told Home is where my family stays And a love that can't decay When I look around my house Im surrounded by hope With rain, snow, and winds Home can never be stripped thin Where the light is never turned off To show undying love Warm and gentle comfort When you think about everything good in my home I realise that I’ve never been alone I see my my younger sister playing with her ipad Totally unbothered And my mom on calls laughing aloud Like there is a crowd There's no place like home Home isn't just bricks but, where memories stick You can’t have another place quite like it People have different places where their stories are told But mine is in my home That is what home means to me
