The World Inside my Home

When I touch the doorknob of my home It feels like a fairy greeting me when I come in The smell of Bangladeshi food Comes straight to my nose And anxiety fades away When I get to have food I feel grateful for what my home provides to eat The steaming rice The warm chicken My family are like glowing crystals Giving you support and protection All along your journey of life Home is a place where you feel free Happy Confident Respected And most of all feel loved Thank you Habitat For Humanity and my mom For building homes and rasing money For a child to live inside a strong turtle home Just like me.
