Tickle Monster

Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! I hear something marching towards me. I turn around just in time to see my parents charging at me, their eyes wide open with playful revenge. Out of nowhere, my parents pounce on me and my brother, Alexey. We are all piled on top of each other lying there as the mid day sun beams brighter than ever, reflecting off of our shiny fridge and right into our eyes. Tickle Monster is one of my favourite games. When my parents play Tickle Monster with me and my brother, it really makes my house feel like a home. Their soft fluffy clothes and warm skin rubbing against our skin, always brings the joy out of us. Whenever I am sad, mad, anxious, or worried, my parents know just how to cheer me up or get me into a fun, energetic mood. Even when I am happy and excited, they get me even more excited with Tickle Monster. Sometimes, they chase us around our home, catch us, and throw us onto the couch before diving on top of us and tickling us until we laugh so much it hurts. The birds are always chirping their favourite songs for us. Tickle Monster makes our house a home because, when we’re in the middle of it, it brings the whole family together - literally, we are all on top of each other! It fills the whole house with laughter that echoes off the walls. A house is a place to live. But, a home is where you are safe and feel loved by everyone around you. When we’re all together playing Tickle Monster and laughing our heads off, my house really feels like a home, filled with love and fun family memories.
