Home Isn't Just a Building

My home isn’t just a building; it’s a place where I always feel safe. Home is not just a place for me to live; it’s a big space filled with everyone I love, like my family and friends, and everything I love, like my bed, my clothes, my phone, my tablet, Roblox. I feel happy when I have these things. My home is a place where I spend time with my family by helping my mom or my dad while they are cooking foods like rice and Fried Chicken. Every Saturday and Sunday my mom makes stir fried meat with broccoli and rice and it’s one of my favourite foods. I even cook for my whole family sometimes, including my little brother. I have made poutine and I bake chocolate chip muffins and many more. For me, home isn’t a place, it's a feeling. It’s the feeling of happiness that I’m not at school but instead laying comfortably in my soft, warm bed, surrounded by everything and everyone I love.
