Scents and Feelings of Home

The smell of homemade cookies fills the warm and sunny afternoon, the sound of your sibling laughing at a horrible dad joke, home is a place of love and comfort, home is where you should feel safe. Home are the sounds that come from loved ones, sounds like: giggling, laughing, talking and video games on the TV. Those are the sounds that remind me that I am safe and protected as well as my family. Home is a place where all should feel safe and with family with you, we should feel even more at home with everyone that you love standing by your side. Home has someone that supports you in all situations, ups and downs and through all tough times, they will help you until all is good and in a way to show how much they love you. I will never forget the smells and the sounds like they have come a part of me, the smell of those warm fresh baked cookies, those things built my life to who I am right now, and I am proud of that.
