Home

Home is more than just somewhere you live, it is a building filled with all your life long memories that you will cherish forever. Whenever the word “home” comes to mind, right away I think back to when I was a baby and how much I love my family. It also makes me think about friendship and responsibility. Without my home, I wouldn't have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, or a place where I feel loved. I’m very close to my family because of the time we spend together in our home, doing crafts or playing games. My home means so much to me, I would never want to move even if there was a really good reason. I say this because I live in such a loving and caring neighborhood with a park close by. My home is the only place I have lived in my life and there are a lot of memories in it so it would make it even harder to move. Home is also my safe place. Whenever I feel sad, mad or upset in any way, I always go to my room to relax until my mind goes calm or snuggle with my parents on the couch. My home is where most of my “firsts” have happened, for example I had my first steps in my home, I had my first Christmas in my home. Those are very important memories! Everyone has a different idea of what home means to them, and to me it's a place where I’m safe and where memories are made. I hope everyone has a home that makes them feel the same way I do!
