What Home Means to Me

Hello today I will be telling you what home means to me. My home is my safe place where I can be myself. My home has four walls and I have four reasons why my home is my safe place. Reason #1: I feel safe at home. If I'm hurt or getting bullied my family helps me get through it. My family helps me by talking to me or the teacher. Also nobody can hurt me when I'm at home. Reason #2: What I see, feel, smell and taste reminds me of home. Something that I see is my room where I made the most of my memories and where I spent most of my life. Something that I feel that reminds me of home is the soft carpet beneath my feet. It feels soft, gentle and soothing. It's placed in our living room. Something that I smell that reminds me of home is my mom’s cooking. When she makes her burritos, the whole house smells like her burritos. It smelled so good! Something I taste that reminds me of home is my mom’s burrito, each bite is filled with flavour. Reason#3: I feel happy at home. I feel happy when my dad plays sports with me like soccer, basketball and ping pong. I also feel happy when I play board games at home with my family. Reason #4: I feel encouraged at home. When I'm doing hard homework my family tells me to get it done. That's why home is my safe place.
