The Difference Between a Home and a House

Home to me is everything I can imagine. It is not just a place, without a home, there would be nothing else but sadness, it would only be a “house”. Home is what I call happiness, it is filled with love, being yourself, family, and uniqueness! Home is also where you are safe, you eat, rest, and are protected. Home is also your shelter. Like being safe, you also need to have a place to stay. Luckily, we have a roof over our heads and walls to cover up the outside! I am thankful that we all have those things in our homes. Meanwhile, a home is different from a house. While the home is very happy, the house isn’t. Even though a home does not have feelings, it needs you there as well. A house is filled with sadness, and emptiness, cold and weakness, and is unwelcoming, and we do not want our home to be this way. This is why a home is not just a place, it is filled with positive feelings that makes it a true home. You could have everything you’ve ever wanted… but without family and positive feelings, it wouldn’t be worth it, and it would be sad, which is why a “home” and a “house” are two completely different words!
