What Home is to Me

Home isn't just a place you eat, sleep and play. It's a place where you can share your emotions without getting judged or being compared. It's a place where you can build memories, love, and show respect. It's a place where your heart can heal and show love. A real home builds you, not breaks you. Home is not just love; it's about loyalty, too. If you don't have love, then you don’t have loyalty. Suppose you have love but not loyalty, it's not real love. Love is about trust to have a strong, loving relationship. A home is a place where you let go, don't hold grudges over small mistakes. Love is gentleness, loyalty, trust, happiness and laughter. Home is only home because somebody loves you here. In Islam, a beautiful saying is directed at the mother. The saying “Jannah (heaven) lies under the feet of your mom.” This saying shows how important home is when your mom is there. A home can't be a home without my mom. For that reason, my mom is home to me.
