What Home Means to Me

People say dogs are a man’s best friend, but why only men? When I think of a dog, I think of mine white and black with a mark under her eye She barks and licks me as my face lights up, that’s what home is to me. As she runs tumbling me to the ground, getting mud all over me, licking every speck of my face. That’s what home means to me. I remember the first day I met her, my mom walked in holding her in her arms. As I turned my head, our eyes met, she wagged her tail, and right then I knew she was family. Every day I take the time to teach her tricks and bond with her. Everyone should have a dog. Just not my dog. Thank you, Habitat, for giving people a second chance to own a cozy home.
