What Home Feels Like to Me

Hi, my name is Shiloh, and I will tell you what home means to me. Home is a place where you get a lot of things that you cherish the most. Home is a lot of things, such as: you get a lot of food, hugs, and quality time with the people I cherish the most. Home is not just a home; it's my safe place. Home is not like any other place; when you are at home, it gives you a big smile and a warm embrace. Home is when you get a lot of hugs, Home is a place where your family gives you a lot of love ALL the time. When your mom and dad are upset, that doesn’t mean they don’t love you; they just want you to do the right thing. Home is a place where you have fun with your family, play games, and a safe space to laugh and cry. Home is like a soft pillow but a big one. Home is also a place where you must do your homework. Home is a place where you are loved and celebrated, big wins and small ones too, everything counts no matter what. Home is awesome, home is where I am most happy. Home is a place where, if you are not feeling good enough and you just can't do anything right, your family makes it better by giving you words of encouragement to make you feel better. Home isn't just a home; it's where you're at your best.
