Home Home is not just a house Home is not just a place to sleep Home is not just a place to eat Home is where my heart is It is a place I feel safe It is a place to feel loved It is a place where I share stories of my day It is a place where I laugh and cry It is a place where I am with family Home is a place of refuge after a bad day Home is a place where hope can be found Home is not just a house Home is where my heart is I am lucky to have a house Others may not be so lucky And to many a house is a place of fear Or a place to avoid I am grateful for my home and everyone in it.
