Home is Me

Home is not just a place. It’s a feeling of safety, happiness, and mad joy when I come home from soccer soaking wet. I feel warm in my home. Or when I come home from school and I feel sad or mad. I feel better when I am home. Home is basically a big emotion that you can't describe. Sometimes, home sounds like children being noisy, or random music playing, or it sounds like a movie playing. Sometimes home smells like a weird smell. This is especially true if my little sister’s home, trying to make perfume. Other times though, my home smells wonderful. Like one time when I had a friend come over and she said that my home smelled like a bakery. She told me that my home smelled so good, she thought she was actually in a bakery. My home wasn't always a home. It used to be just a house, but over time, it has turned into my own special home. You know how, when you first move into a house, it doesn't feel special, but as you add all the special touches and memories, it becomes a home. My home is special to me and soon yours will be too.
