Home Isn't Just a Building
- what is a home?
Home, home doesn't mean a house, but yet a house can be a home. A house is a place you live, sleep, eat, etc. But a home means so much more than that, a home means fresh baked cookies on a winter night. Home means people showing you that they love you. home means seeing family often. home means having a place to sleep. Home means affordable housing. Home means having a disability and still having an accessible home. Home means being in a place you love, that is a home. - house into a home:
Like what was said in the beginning, a house can be a home, but how you may ask? If you have a house that is a place you can sleep, eat, live etc. But a home is for making memories, telling jokes, doing what makes you and others happy. That is a home, imagine moving into a house, with nothing in it. That is a house, but adding furniture, making it accessible and fun at the same time. That is a home - house into a home. How project for humanity helps us:
The average house in Canada costs 673,400$ which is a lot of money, but project for humanity helps people in need or with a disability have a place they can call home. People in other countries would think that that is impossible, but project for humanity proved them wrong and showed us what just simply a home can mean to a family.
