Home Sweet Home

House is just a word, but home is yours. A house is just a couch but, my home is a black couch with scratches all over. A house is a room as my home is my room with clothes on the ground and pillows all around. My home smells like sweat from when I get home from hockey and my family cheers me up when I'm down and cingulate me when I win and my home is what keeps us together. It is where I stay warm and let my emotions free. If I walked in a house, I would not know the past but if I walked in my home, I would see memories all around. Not all memories are good. I have lost loved ones at home, but it is there to keep my safe. It keeps me dry when there is a storm, and cool when it's too hot outside. It's where my family is home is nothing without them. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for giving everyone their own special home no matter who they are.
