What Home Feels Like

When I think about home I think about this octopus painting that I had in my old room. I still have it in one of my houses in my room. When I look at the octopus painting it gives me a sad feelings and happy feelings and feelings of interest. I don't just think of my octopus painting when I think of home. I also think of a place where you can share your feelings. A place where you have warm hugs and you feel safe and loved. You can feel sad-mad, sometimes you don't even want to be home, but you will always come back home and you will always be loved. Home can be scary and not fun sometimes. Sometimes it won't be what you think it is. But home can also be fun, warm, cozy and you feel comfortable there. Home doesn't have to be a house, it could be a place. Home makes you feel warm on the inside and the outside. It can also make you feel cold but it mostly warm. When I think of what home smells like, it smells like waffles that are warm and perfectly cooked. maple syrup on top. And a glass of chocolate milk. So that's what I think of Home.
