Habitat Homes

Habitat for humanity is an organization that builds houses for people in need, people who can't find homes, homeless people, and people that are living in other people's houses. The people that work and build houses for Habitat for Humanity are not getting paid so the houses are free and they buy building materials with donations. Habitat for humanity is important because Many families struggle to pay high rent, which can make it hard to afford healthy food or school supplies. By helping these families build and buy their own homes, Habitat for Humanity gives them a stable place where they can feel safe. Kids who live in stable homes often do better in school because they have a quiet place to study and don't have to move around all the time. Also, volunteer's help build houses which brings our community together and shows teamwork and kindness.
