Home Is Where I belong

As soon as I was born, I knew I would belong. With my mom and my brother, we did everything together. From my highs and lows, they would comfort me, and I would do the same because we are family and that's what family does for each other. All throughout my journey you can see on the walls, from when I was little till now. All these journeys from timbit soccer to making the basketball team, all my friends and family will always be with me. Home is great, it is where memories start and legacies continue . Home makes me feel warm like a nice big hug, because it is where I can let out all my secrets without being made fun of. Home isn’t only your house, it is your neighbourhood, your town, your city and your country. Home is also a school where you can hangout with your friends, you can make them laugh or they can make you laugh, and that's the beauty of having a home. If I get in trouble for anything, I won't be hated. I will know better next time. My punishment can range from staying in my room for 30 minutes to no devices for the day, and I know not to get upset about these things because other people have it worse, might not have devices or not even a home. Thank you, Habitat For Humanity for giving people houses that are in need, So other people like me can start their adventures and make memories. Sincerely, Austyn B
