Home is more than a place

A home is a feeling not a house. it is a place of comfort and love. happiness and warmth. A home is where you belong. My home is where I feel safe and happy. Its where I feel everyone can understand me. I don’t just live there I belong there. With my family and pets always there to listen no matter what. They understand. I fall asleep at night under a roof. A roof of protection for weather and warmth. I feel safe and a sense of belonging. Because a home is a place where I feel happy. Maybe I had a tiring day. I go home to the place where memories lay. I recognize this place. My home. Where I love and trust everybody and everything inside. a cozy place to belong. I don’t just live there I belong there. In my home with my people and family because its my home. My place to belong.
