A Place Where I'm Loved

To me home is a place where I feel loved. Like hugging my mom or dad. That makes me feel safe. To me home is a place where I feel safe. Like getting tucked into bed. That makes me feel comfortable. To me home is a place where I feel comfortable. Like I can just be myself. That makes me feel secure. To me home is a place where I feel free. Like I can just do whatever I want. That makes me feel happy. To me home is a place where I feel connected. Like putting my hand to my cat’s paw. That makes me feel loved. To me home is a place where I feel confident. Like nobody is giving me dirty looks. That makes me feel confident. To me home is a place where I feel happy. Like hearing my dad make funny jokes. That makes me feel connected. To me I think it is crazy that some people don’t have homes that are safe. I’m so grateful that Habitat for Humanity is helping the people in need. I am so grateful that I have a home where I’m safe and loved. I’m so happy that I have a safe home and a loving family. My wish is that everyone can have a family that loves them. Also, a home where they feel free, safe and loved.
