My Home

My sister, father and mother, All living together. Under big roof with a small dome, A tall gate, shiny as chrome, That's the place I call my home. A roller coaster of feelings, With few new walls and few torn ceilings. Cozy as winter fur socks, Drawing room with two big clocks. As beautiful as Paris and Rome, That's the place I call my home. Near or far, wherever I am, No matter where I choose to roam. I live and I learn, But I am always eager to return. That's the place I call home. Sometimes floor as new as winter snowfall, Sometimes dirty from my sister’s crawl. A lot of happy, sad and fun memories made, Stored in my heart that will never fade. Heavy sofas and colourful pillows light as foam, That’s the place I call my home……
