Poem of Home

A house may not have a single mouse, But a home is where you are not alone. A house may be big and strong, But the love of home follows you along. A house may not leak any water, But a home looks at you like a toddler. A house may not have a stain on its paint, but a home has happiness that will make you faint. A house can be really bold, But a home has stories untold. A house might attract somebody, But a home gives love to everybody. Your friend could have a mansion so wide, But what good is it when there's no family by his side, To help clean his clothes with Tide? A house may have space to play hide and seek, But a home does not leak a seep of love. A house may have gardens of flowers, But a home has laughter that lasts for hours. When one of your friends play with a PS5, And they are making a video that's live, They are not happy on the inside, Because he lives in a house that's wide. A home never leaves you alone By: Asim Grade : 5 School: Ecole Wascana Plains School
