Kelly's Good Day

One cold night a girl named Kelly was shivering with no home of her own. How Kelly wished for a home of her own. She once had a friend named Ben, but he had to be arrested because he had accidentally slept on a snooty lady’s lawn. “It’s f...f...FREEZING!!”Kelly exclaimed. She could see lights being turned off in nice, warm homes. For once in her life Kelly could almost feel the warmth of her own comfy home. Almost everybody in the town tried to ignore the homeless people. One day a guy named Mike was sick and tired of nobody caring about the homeless and decided to stand up for them. Mike decided to go to ask a homeless girl (because a boy might go crazy) about the importance of home. Apparently, the girl he found first was Kelly! The answer that Kelly gave was this, “A home is more than a structure. It is worth more than it is paid for. When a house is filled with laughter, faith, and love it feels like life is almost perfect. A home is a mansion filled with love not just a room with four corners. There is more than just a word to describe it. That is my thought about home.” Then Mike had an idea, he would start a business called “Habitat for Humanity”. Since Kelly was the one who told Mike what the true meaning of home was, SHE was the first customer they helped. Even today Habitat for Humanity is still running. THE END!!!
