Home Is Where My Love Lives

My neighbour’s home is bigger than mine, And everyone who lives there stays in line. Sometimes the kids misbehave, but their parents forgive, Their home is where their forgiveness lives. My great grandma’s home is full of memories, With pictures of her grandkids, like other elderlies. She’s an honest person, one who wouldn’t dare tell a fib, Her home is where her honesty lives. But my home is the one I like most of all, It holds more than just a floor, roof, and walls. My home is where I feel the most like me, And definitely where I feel the most free. There, I can laugh out loud, My home is where I feel the most proud. It’s where I run down the stairs when I hear, "It’s dinner time!", My home is where I know everything will be fine. I know my home is my place, It’s where I feel happiest to show my face. My home holds my favourite foods, And just being there puts me in my best moods. I can stand by my opinion, even if I am wrong, My home is where I feel the most strong. When I am at school, Some people make me feel uncool. But when I am home, I find my best feelings roam. My home holds so many memories, like where we used to put our cribs, My home is where my love lives.
