The Meaning of Home

A home to me is not just a house or apartment with a roof, it’s more than just that. It’s a peaceful place in my dear country, Ukraine. I feel safe whenever I am in Ukraine, in the peaceful woods Mother Nature has given to Ukraine to share with us. Ukraine is home to me no matter what anyone says about it. Ukraine, a beautiful home to be living in, with peaceful woods and beautiful birds chirping, with the smell of flowers flowing in the air, it’s all I could ask for. Beauty rises each season to greet Ukraine in different ways. In winter, Ukraine is covered in fluffy snow and beautiful drawings on the windows, with snowmen that kids made being everywhere. In spring, Ukraine says hello again to tons of beautiful butterflies, birds, and most of all, perennials covering the muddy ground. In summer, Ukraine spares us some of the yummiest berries you’ve ever tried. While in fall, trees change their leaves from green to red,orange and yellow colors which fill the country with happiness and joy. A yellow-blue heart, all I've ever asked for.
