Meaning of Home
This is what home means to me. Hi, my name is Myka. I like to hang out with my best friend Alaster. Home means to me that you're loved, cherished and a feeling you belong. Me and my family have moved once when we moved to this area, I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me, it made me feel safe and warm on the inside and outside.
One time I felt most loved was when I had nightmares when I was like four or five years old. My nightmare was about one of my fears, snakes, and I may or may not have peed my pajamas pants when I woke up and after we cleaned up my mom curdled me back to sleep, I felt the love that came from her. To be taken care of when feeling vulnerable is to be a feeling of creating a home too me.
One time I felt most cherished was when I would go upstairs in my old house and ask my grandpa to cook some food for me when i woke up early. I would wait for five min and boom my food was done; I love my grandpa. I would give my grandpa a hug every time he cooks for me then I would chill in the living room and wait for my mom, dad and sister to wake up. To be cherished is creating a forever home for me.
One time I felt most belonging was when I shared my blanket with my mom, dad and sister and my blanket quite big I felt happy and comfortable I felt connected to my family. I loved how warm it was that night and the next day thay made my fav breakfast at the time pancakes I was so excited to eat my mom's pancake and the smell heavenly. I Associate wonderful smells with home.
Here is what home means to me. Home is a feeling of love, being cherished. Home is a belonging, where you can be yourself. Home is not just a physical space; it is a sanctuary where I feel safe and accepted. It is comforting smell of my favorite meals being prepared in the kitchen and the laughter that echoes through the hallway.
